Finales & Beginnings

In a certain way, the end of one month and the start of the next has an alluring feeling. As I turn my planner page, there is a rush of energy, as if I clicked the refresh button on my own personal browser. Clear the cache and start fresh. So many possibilities await, especially when Spring is starting to peek at us here and there.

And with the start of April, comes National Poetry Month, which is even more special to me this year. Tomorrow will be the first day of the Tupelo Press (yay for indie presses!) 30/30 Project. I will be writing one poem per day in April, alongside 9 other poets. If you’re not already following, I hope you’ll join me for the month here at the Tupelo website. I’d love to hear what you think of the poems I’m crafting. Hopefully, at least one of my daily poems will become part of your own personal poetic pause.
